You gasped in shock, it was …………..

Your closest friend (and crush) Gilbert Beilschmidt, aka Prussia. Walking closer to him, you noticed he was talking to Gilbird. You quickly stopped so you can hear what he was saying.

"Oh Gilbird, I don't know vhat to do.. Vhat if (name) turns zhe awesome me down? I don't vant to ruin our awesome friendship... Vait, NEIN! Stop it! I can't zhink negative, I need to zhink about zhe good zhings zhat might happen, not zhe bad zhings. After all, I am zhe awesome Prussia!

After he said that, you giggled, but then quickly covered your mouth.

Gilbert quickly turned around, saying,

"Who's zhere?" You sighed, realizing your cover was blown and stepped into sight.

"Oh, (name) its you..." Gilbert trailed off. You noticed he was acting different than usual. During this awkward silence between you and Gilbert, Gilbird flew to you and landed on you head and chirped. You giggled and lifted Gilbird from his perch. You looked at Gilbird for a while, as memories of the past resurfaced.

You were sitting next to a pond, crying. You were being bullied by the older kids at school, and you were only in kindergarten. You told your teacher about the problems, but she couldn't do anything since she was a kindergarten teacher, not a 5th grade teacher. Because of the bullying, you had zero friends. Now that you were done crying, you noticed that it was surprisingly silent for it being a forest and all. Then you heard a chirp. You turned around, just to see an adorable little chick flying through the air, which landed on your head. You giggled, and took the chick from its perch. You started playing with the chick.

"You know, you are my only friend, little chickie." you said sadly.

"Kesesesesese~ how bout we fix zhat, Frau?" an anonymous voice said. You turned around to see a kid who seemed around your age with silvery hair and unusual red eyes.

"You know, zhat's mein awesome pet you're playing vith, right?" you shrunk back from the strange boy, expecting him to be mean to you like the other kids you know.

"Kesesesese~ I von't hurt you, I'm a nice person, see?" he extended his hand to you. You hesitantly accepted it.

"Mein name is Gilbert Beilschmidt, vhat is yours?"

"(na-name)" you stuttered.

"Well, (na-name), from now on, you're mein awesome friend, ok?"

"O-ok..."

And that was the start of the awesomest friendship ever.

~End of flashback~

"H-Huh...?" You snapped out of your trance-like state, only to hear Gilbert say

"Kesesesesesesese~ Gilbird, vhile (name) is distracted, I'm gonna kiss her. It's zhe perfect plan!"

As soon as you heard that, you blushed and said

"G-Gilbert...

"(na-name), did you just hear zhat...?"

"Yeah... I did, Gilbert..."

Gilbert blushed and said

"(name) I-

You interrupted him with a kiss. Gilbert was caught off guard at first, though he quickly gained control. After a while, things sped up and the next thing you knew, Gil was asking for entrance. You didn't want to easily give in to him yet.Gilbert then had an idea. He tickled your sides, making you gasp in surprise from the sudden tickle attack. He took this opportunity and he moaned at the feeling of his tongue against yours. After a long time of battling for dominance, he finally won and explored his winnings. You moaned. You could feel Gilbert smirk arrogantly against your mouth. Even nations need air, the two of you pulled apart for that damn oxygen. Smiling, you hugged him, and he hugged you back. Deciding to use his native language, you said

"Ich liebe dich, Gilbert."

"Ich liebe dich auch, (name)"

~le timeskip to one day later~

"Hey (name), can I ask mein awesome girlfriend a question?"

"What is it, Gil?"

"Do you vant to see mein awesome five meters?" Your face resembled on of Spain's tomatoes. You slapped Gilbert's face, hard.

"N-no Gil, we've only been dating for a day!" you stuttered. Gilbert rubbed the spot where you hit him.

"Oh vell, I guess zhat's ok because I'm going to invade your vital regions sooner or later~"

"GIL!"
